In 2011, Japanese whaling was cut short due. Japan’s Fisheries Agency said that Japanese whalers have suspended their operations since Feb. 10, pointing to harassment from the anti-whaling environmental group Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

This article gives me history on Japanese whaling and how far back it goes. It also gives some cultural facts on why they whale hunt. They claim it’s a sore of food. That it is their culture to eat whale meet. First of all, I don’t think whale meet would be that good and second, whales are one of the world’s most beautiful creatures.

This is a very good article because it has lots of facts and examples and provides a view japans enemy, The Sea Shepherd. They say they are not scared of the Japanese and will stop them for whaling. I agree with the Sea Shepherd 100%. They should not be afraid of the Japanese and should stop them once and for all.

This article has a lot about Japan’s history and good fact about them whaling. This article talks about Japan whaling during World War II and how it became abused. It also talk about how in 1986 the whaling commissions voted against Japan from whaling like they did in the 40’s
