Introduction

In the last five year The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the worst teams in the NFL. With always coming in the bottom 3, there had to be a change. In early 2011, San Francisco hired Jim Harbaugh to be the new head coach for the 49ers. With having three new head coaches in the last five years and still have a horrible record, there was no big expectation on the 49ers doing well. But in the start of the 2011 season, the 49ers had won 3 of 4 games and next game was against Eagles who were ranked high in the NFL. In the last minute of the game, Justin Smith manged to strip the ball and cause a fumble which the 49ers recovered to ended the game. After that game, a spark lit up and the 49ers went on a winning streak. Going all the way to the playoff and to the NFC Champion game. Unfortunately they lost that game to the New York Giants in overtime by only a field goal. High expectations are in for the 49ers this but only time will tell. Football one of my passions in life and I played it for 10 years. I love this sport more than any other because in my eyes it is most the contact and the most fun sport to play.
