49ers greater than Raiders

These two team have been rivals with fans since the Raiders moved from Los Angeles to Oakland. When they play each other, fans always like to talk "highly" about their team and downgrade the opposite team. I know I do. The 49ers and Raiders do not always play each other every year so when they do, the San Francisco 49ers usually come up with the win. In last past 10 years, the 49ers have won 6-2 game against the Raiders. I went to game two years ago at Candlestick park with my four best friends, one being a Raiders fan. The 49ers have a legendary past with 5 Super Bowl wins, the most any team in the NFL, and 14 Hall of Famers. I have been a 49ers fan ever since I knew about football. Growing up in the bay area you basically have two choices on what team you want to root for. As a boy, I chose the 49ers because my father was a fan and so was everyone in my neighborhood. Also red was my favorite color at the time. With the season the 49ers are having this year, I can say I like them a whole lot more. Raiders on the other hang are probably not going to make the playoff. Another reason why the 49ers are greater than the Raiders. Therefore, in my opinion the San Francisco 49ers are a over all better team.

The Big Upset

49ers vs. Patriots! America's game of the day! 49ers, #1 defense in the NFL. Patriots, #1 Offense in the NFL. Both team possible contender for the Super Bowl this year. The game started off well for the 49ers with inceptions and turnovers for the defense. The wet condition made it difficult to handle the ball for both team and caused many fumble. The Patriots had five turn overs just in the first half. By the end of the second quarter, the score was 17-3 49ers. By start of the second half, the 49ers score two more touchdown make the score 31-3. I thought this game was and the 49ers had the win in the third quarter but it was not over yet. Tom Brady, probably one of the best quarterback to ever play the game, did not give up yet. He threw four touchdown passes and tied up the score 31-31. At this point I was scared for the 49ers and thought we lost the day for sure but it only took us one play to score a touchdown and make it 38-31. The Patriots couldn't fight back and eventually lost momentum. Ending score was 42-34. I was amazed how well the 49ers played against defending AFC champions and how they came out with the win. One of the best games this year by far.

2012 San Francisco Giants Parade

They said that I would never see the San Francisco Giants win the World Series in my time. They did it in 2010. They later said I would never see them win two World Series. Well guess what? They did it again in 2012. Two World Series in three years. The San Francisco Giants made history this year by sweeping the Detroit Tigers in the 2012 World Series. After the Giants will a World Series, they have a huge parade to honor the player for their outstanding performance that season. I was lucky enough to attend this parade and I've learned since the last parade to get there really early so you can get a great seat. I got at 8 in the morning and was not expecting that many people to be there. Even though I didn't get a good seat, I still had fun and saw all my favorite players. This was once in a life time experience and I got to experience twice.

TED Talk Flying Bird

There are plenty of robots that can fly but none out there that can fly like a bird. That's until the team at Festo build a SmartBird Seagull that flies exactly like one. This Bird is made of extremely light carbon fiber and only weights 450 grams. This bird is amazing and very unique. It is amazing what technology has come to and what it is capable of. Watching this video and actually seeing the bird flying in the room, you first question if the bird is digital but once it flies the second time you can see that it is real and its actually a carbon fiber bird. I really liked this TED video.

Win Over the Bills! 45-3

Once again The San Francisco 49ers crushed their opponents with a 45-3 win against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Alex Smith had nearly a perfect performance during Sunday's week 5 game against the Bills. Smith had his best statistical performance in his seven year career as he completed 18 of 24 passess for 303 yards. During the game Smith found six different receivers for those 303 yards. I am very excited that the 49ers are doing so well and can't to go to an actually game myself. Next week we play the New York Giants who are Super Bowl Champions and who all 49ers fans hate. i was planing on going to the game but I saw prices of ticket and they were over $130 for on ticket. This is probably one important game.

San Francisco beats New York Jets! 34-0

 49ers Sweep the Jets on Sunday with a 34-0 win at Metlife Stadium. Mark Sanchez has been struggling since the beginning of the season and his preformance on Sunday against the 49ers, did not improve. Getting sacked over 3 times and only completing 13 out of 29 passes for only 103 yards does not look good for Sanchez. With throwing under 50%, Mark is in the bottom 10 in he NFL.
